The Protest of the Invisible

There are not many days in a year when I'd rather be in Georgia than in London... May 17th, the day against homophobia, (or as the church now calls it, the day for the holiness of families or something like that) is one of those rare days. And the initiative of this year - The protest of the invisible - was quite touchy..

More than hundred pair of shoes were set out on one of the squares in Tbilisi and the installation represented those "who are invisible, whose speech cannot be heard, whose existence is not accepted... Today these shoes represent those people who last year on may 17th found courage to stand against the ignorance of LGBT people, to speak up about our common challenges. For those who would wish to be here also today to express their happiness or sadness but neither state nor the society acknowledges their voice and their existence.."

I happened to be in front of Bukingham Palace when I thought I wanted to join the protest from far away London... And I took off my shoes...

This was a protest for the invisibles and against being invisible and I invisibly joined it...

Berlin Smells of Freedom

I don't have much to say about this city.. I like the atmosphere here, its mood and its charm... its greyness and even its gloominess... Its humans and its rough language... And the smell of freedom...

And I mentioned humans  as well right?

Black And White

If scenery doesn't change - and well, I have to admit that I never get bored of East London - changing your camera setting into monochrome can give an easy solution. Especially if these colors are similar to how you see the universe these days - black and white...

Beso is an amazing photographer. You can check out his stuff here and he's got a gorgeous smile I think...

Towards the end of the day, Monochrome goes back to Standard and I'm sure you don't need me to explain to you why...

Gay Means Happy

I dedicate this picture to every homophobe (particularly in Georgia) with huge love and compassion.

This is not a mass wedding. Neither they are bridesmaids wearing similar clothes. These are two women getting married. To make it more clear, these are two women marrying each other. If you didn't know,  yes, it is happening in this God's forgotten place and it is OK!
